Welcome to Orion Spires. As the new Principal, I am delighted to introduce myself to our parents, carers and wider community, and to share a little of what makes our school such a special place to learn and grow.

It is a privilege to join a school community with such a strong tradition of achievement, aspiration and care. We are proud to celebrate our students’ recent GCSE successes; this represents another year of record-breaking results for the school.  These achievements reflect their hard work, determination and ambition, alongside the dedication of our talented staff and the invaluable support of parents and carers.

Life at Orion Spires extends well beyond the classroom. Through our Pupil Promise, students can enjoy enriching opportunities such as sports clubs, wider extracurricular activities and targeted academic interventions, helping them discover new interests, develop their talents and access the support they need to succeed.

As we begin this new chapter together, I look forward to building on the school’s many successes. Our aim is for every child to receive an exceptional education that secures strong qualifications while also nurturing confidence, character, resilience and a lifelong love of learning. Through a robust careers programme, we will also ensure that every student is well prepared to move successfully onto the right post-16 pathway.
