Anti Bullying Ambassadors
At Orion Spires, our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors are a group of students who are trained through the Diana Award Anti-Bullying Programme. We work together to make our school a safe, respectful and inclusive place for everyone.
Our Training
Our ambassadors have completed specialist training from the Diana Award, a nationally recognised charity. This training helps us to:
- Understand different forms of bullying
- Support other students in a safe and positive way
- Promote kindness, respect and inclusion
- Take action to improve our school environment

Our Message
We believe everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and valued at Orion Spires. Together, we stand against bullying and promote a culture of kindness.
Our Work with the Diana Award – #FreeTheShoulders Campaign
As part of our work with the Diana Award Anti-Bullying Programme, our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors were invited to take part in a national campaign called #FreeTheShoulders.
What is #FreeTheShoulders?
#FreeTheShoulders is a national anti-bullying campaign created by the Diana Award. It focuses on raising awareness about appearance-based bullying and helping young people understand the impact bullying can have on confidence and wellbeing.
The campaign highlights that many young people are bullied because of how they look and encourages everyone to challenge this behaviour and support others.
Our Involvement
At Orion Spires, our ambassadors:
- Took part in discussions and activities linked to the campaign
- Helped raise awareness across the school
- Promoted positive messages about confidence, kindness and respect
- Encouraged students to speak up and support each other
We are proud to have contributed to a campaign that has reached millions of young people across the UK and beyond.
Why It Matters
The #FreeTheShoulders campaign teaches us that bullying can feel like a heavy weight on someone’s shoulders. Through our work, we aim to:
- Help “lift that weight” by supporting others
- Challenge unkind behaviour
- Create a school where everyone feels accepted and confident
