A Five-Year Journey

Throughout their time at Orion Spires, students are encouraged to complete a range of enriching experiences linked to these three areas. These carefully designed opportunities aim to broaden horizons, develop character and prepare students for life beyond school.

Students will engage in a variety of activities, including:

• Taking part in school productions or sports teams
• Volunteering within the local community
• Leading group projects or mentoring younger students
• Participating in enrichment clubs, competitions and wider school initiatives

By completing these experiences, students leave Orion Spires as confident, capable and socially responsible young adults.

Tracking Progress

Each student is supported in their journey through a Pupil Promise card, located within their planner. When an activity is completed, students provide evidence to a member of staff, who will formally recognise and record the achievement.

This process ensures that every student’s personal development journey is celebrated, valued and visible, reinforcing the importance of growth beyond academic success.
